We had a great experience with solar through Namaste. All of their employees were knowledgeable, courteous, followed through on every detail, and were overall easy to work with. Our city (Centennial)… had very strict requirements for roof access that limited our layout, but Namaste worked with us to get the best value system for our situation. The installers were all Namaste employees (no subcontractors) and they completed the project on schedule, passed all inspections the first time, left everything tidy, and explained all the different parts. They then helped us deal with Xcel’s excessive backlog of approvals and finally provided all documentation for filing for the tax refunds. Namaste did not have the absolute lowest price, but we felt their work and experience was worth it. We used a lower cost solar installer at our previous home a few years ago and regretted it – we had so many issues (breakers tripping, system shutting down, failed inspections). This time we went with Namaste and they did a wonderful job, highly recommend!read more

We had Namaste install solar panels on our house 3 1/2 years ago. A neighbor of ours had had a good experience with them. The system is supplying over 90% of our total electricity use, which… includes an all-electric car, plus a plug-in hybrid. The installation process was simple. They did all the leg work, we just had to sign some documents.More recently, we’ve had some transient problems in the panels that trigger the inverter to shut down until we reboot it and tell it to retest. Namaste has been out twice, no charge, to inspect the system and provide data to the panel manufacturer. They will replace any defective panels completely under warranty, including all labor, at no cost to us. Much better customer service and warranty coverage than just about anything you can buy these days!The latest IPCC report is saying that we’d better get busy reducing fossil fuel use NOW, and the 30% federal tax rebates start dropping in 2021. We’d highly recommend contacting Namaste sooner rather than later.——–Adddendum 2023: We had Namaste install 24 solar panels in 2015, and gave them a 5-star review. In order to offset increased electricity usage from a new electric heat pump, they recently installed another 14 panels. Gary, the design engineer, was a pleasure to work with. He came up with a layout that accommodated our desire to have a wide enough path to various parts of the roof without compromising much efficiency. They started the work a few weeks earlier than we expected, even though they had to rake snow off our roof to do so. They asked us if it would be okay for the crew to disappear early the second day in order to help another crew finish up, which we had no problems with. And then later that day yet another crew had finished early, so they came to our house to make a few more hours of progress. They also cleaned pine needles from the gutters near the previously installed panels. The system has worked perfectly, some days producing more electricity than the larger, better oriented older array—the new panels use microinverters and are much more tolerant of partial shading due to snow that has not completely slid off.We would definitely use them again, except they’ve already covered all good spots on our roof with panels :).read more

I spent months and months researching different companies and asking them all various questions, getting quotes, looking into the equipment,… looking into the install process, looking into the warranties of everything, and looking at the impact to the environment, not to mention my utility bill. I looked into over ten solar companies and Namaste was, by far, the best at checking all the boxes. And, as an added bonus, their quote came in as one of the lower one’s on my list. Let me, first, get the two negatives out of the way. One, it did take a few extra months for the install vs. other companies, but, in the end, it was well worth the wait. And two, the installers forgot a bag of trash up on the roof after the install was complete, which they came out promptly as soon as I mentioned it to them. Namaste was knowledgeable about everything, they were great at informing me every step of the way, great with explaining everything. Everyone I spoke to during the entire process was very kind and knew what they were talking about. They had great references, which I called a lot of, and now they can count me as a great reference too! Their install is the cleanest looking one out there. They ran all the electrical conduits through the attic vs. across the roof and around the gutters. Namaste was simply fantastic! Beware of solar companies taking your federal tax credit. Namaste along with many other local solar companies are offering fair prices for the first 12 months, and then if you don’t give them your… federal tax credit your financed payment goes up significantly. I find this to be a very predatory and unethical business practice. I have a sneaking suspicion they are artificially inflating prices because they are basically stealing YOUR tax credit. It completely negates the federal government’s attempt to be proactive in climate change. Any company that does this doesn’t actually care about you or the environment, they just want your tax credit. 🤌I bet you solar is going to be a lot less costly in 2023. This type of practice should be illegal!!! Only giving them a 4 star review because the low reviews are getting buried, surprise, surprise…When I confronted them about this, they didn’t even respond to my email…. Silence told me everything I needed to know.read more

Chose namaste because it was mid-market in terms of pricing (at least when I was shopping), and I liked that it was based out of Colorado. I had looked into buying the permitting, materials,… inspections, and subcontracting the install myself, and decided I’d rather be totally hands-off. Which, to Namaste’s total credit, I was able to be; it was a totally hands-off experience, which I greatly appreciated. Super impressed with the technology options they provided as well. The one “problem” I had (have?) was that I asked a few different people at Namaste about including a battery array with our system to smooth out our peak demand (a real “nickel and dime” charge that most utilities in Colorado charge solar producing customers), and didn’t really get follow-up information from anyone on what that would look like. Missed sales opportunity and something that slightly decreased my satisfaction with the system.read more
