Kudos to Namaste Solar for making it possible for homeowners on a budget to enjoy all the many benefits of residential solar power now that federal rebates have been axed. From my first call through installation and final payment Namaste staff were calm, clear, and kind, not surprising given their company name. Based on our previous experience purchasing a solar system in another state I vetted them carefully. Their being an employee-owned, Certified B corporation was a clear sign I could trust them. Yet they met or exceeded all my expectations at every stage of the process, keeping me in the loop, never talking down to me, allowing me to ask "dumb" questions, and handling all the technical and permitting issues smoothly. (A special shoutout goes to the installation crew led by Roger, who were prompt, efficient, respectful of our time and property, and just fun to talk to.) Buying a solar power system is a major investment that definitely improves your resale value considerably. If you take the plunge this year do it with Namaste Solar. Namaste Solar has been wonderful with whom to work. William kept us abreast of the timeline when work would begin and end. The team of Ken, Sylvia, Alexandria, Eric and Ed kept us well informed as to their progress as well as what to expect. They were all so friendly, courteous, prompt, and hard working. We quickly developed a relationship of trust.

I would give more stars if I could. I contacted Namaste in June, and they put me on a wait list because so many people were trying to get in before the tax credits went away. The system was installed in December. They took one day off due to high winds making it not safe to be on the roof, but they made it up on a Friday (when they normally don't install). They worked very hard to get everything installed before 12/31, and when my first payment had a problem (I was trying to do ACH with an account I only use rarely) they called to make sure I got a new payment in so I would qualify. The battery and the solar are working well, I love having the app so I can see the energy generation and storage. I also have gotten a few storm warnings, in which case the battery remains at 100% to provide power in an outage if necessary, instead of using it for normal household use. Everyone was very professional and helpful, and it's a local company, which is also very nice. I had gotten a referral from a friend who was also very happy with them.
