Museum of Nature & Science

PROJECT DETAILS

The rooftop solar array atop the Denver Museum of Nature & Science not only helps offset the facility’s energy use, it also serves as an educational tool for the museum’s visitors. The museum’s solar panels are capable of offsetting more than 135 tons of carbon dioxide each year, the equivalent of planting 11,500 trees. The museum’s system can generate 134,500 kWh of electricity annually.
