Namasté Solar Opens Office in White Plains, New York
Namasté Solar, an employee-owned cooperative and leading developer, designer, builder and operator of solar electric systems for commercial, non-profit, government and residential customers throughout the United States, announced today it is opening a branch office in White Plains, New York in March. The company currently has offices in Boulder and Denver, Colorado.
While Namasté Solar has thrived in the state of Colorado over the last ten years, the company is formally expanding its commercial project services outside of the state, continuing to develop projects in New York, New England and other areas of the country that will benefit from commercial scale solar electricity. With its excellent reputation and ten-year track record, Namasté Solar is well poised to offer its national clients the same great customer service and quality work the company has consistently delivered since its founding.
“We are pleased to expand our community and to bring Namasté Solar’s mission – to propagate the responsible use of solar energy, pioneer conscientious business practices, and create holistic wealth for ourselves and our community – to New York. White Plains was our first choice as a location, as it offers an excellent base to help us better serve our customers in the Northeast, as well as enhance our Commercial Team at our Colorado headquarters,” said Blake Jones, CEO of Namasté Solar.
Namasté Solar’s White Plains office is located at 50 Main Street, Suite 1000, and is the company’s first office location outside of Colorado, dedicated solely to commercial scale projects.
Some of Namasté Solar’s most notable solar projects to date have included the Denver Housing Authority, New Belgium Brewing Company, the Colorado Convention Center, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Boulder Community Hospital, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
Namasté Solar has also been widely recognized for the company’s innovative business model and unique work environment, such as, Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work (2013-2014); WorldBlu’s Most Democratic Workplace (2010-2014); B Lab’s Best for the World (2012-2014); U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year (2011), Boulder Chamber of Commerce’s Best Places to Work (2010), Denver Business Journal’s Best Places to Work (2009), and a #56 ranking in Inc.
