Excellent Service! This company is committed to client satisfaction - it seems baked into their DNA. I bought a house in Denver with an existing solar system - and all was initially fantastic. But... suddenly, performance began to get wonky and irregular, and my solar system provider, not Namaste, sent a Namaste technician to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, when the Namaste team came, the system was operational. Days later, the issue reared its head again - and again Namaste was sent to diagnose - and again, the system was operational. I was beside myself when the system again bonked - then rebooted - then bonked again. When I tried to speak with a real person at the solar system provider, a big national behemoth, I was bounced around in voicemail hell. But Namaste was immediately responsive by both email and phone, each and every time. I soon had a committed, dedicated team of Namaste professionals who wanted to help me figure out the problem. Eventually, I was able to catch the system down and video the codes my inverter was displaying in real time - and that gave the Namaste team the critical info they needed to solve my issue. They worked closely with me to get that inverter replaced by the manufacturer. My system has been golden ever since and I am back to generating beautiful clean solar energy for my house. The Namaste team is fantastic. They are tenacious about solving issues, and they're so knowledgeable and excited about the technology. I am so grateful to the service team at Namaste!read more

We signed up during the early summer to have Solar panel were installed on our house, hoping to have the system up and running before the end 2019 (and get the larger tax credit still available.) ... Namaste gave us an install date of late November, but was able to get our system up and running by in early October. The city was even speedy with their part of the install. We had Namaste install our system 3 years ago. They were possibly slightly more expensive than the other two bids we got, but so absolutely worth it. We had just put a pricey new shingle roof on the... house and didn't want it damaged (as has been reported with other companies) and the Namaste team was wonderful - on time, pleasant, they did everything they promised to do. . system still working great and we get a check from Xcel every month. Namaste just put solar on a friend's roof in 2019 and again did a great job. We are therefore in the process of having Namaste install a second system on our mountain place in Pine. Namaste Solar installed our solar system in February 2019. The installation went smoothly due to Namaste's planning and professionalism. Additionally, they made all the paperwork required for Excel... Energy, rebates, tax credits, and warranties easy and painless. They provided advice on which Excel program would likely provide us with the most benefit. Our Namaste system has been online since March (it took Excel 30 days to install their production meter) and so far our electricity bills have been $0.00 and we have been accruing additional KWH in our solar bank that we hope will help carry us through the shorter solar days of winter.read more

We didn’t know what a “B Corp” was until we read about it on Namaste Solar’s website (“B Corporations are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their employees, suppliers,... communities, consumers, and environment”), but we support working with companies with that type of commitment. That Namaste Solar is employee owned is another plus. We found all of the people with whom we worked – Gary, Whitney, Jason, Davis, Zach, and Houston – to be personable and enthusiastic as well as knowledgeable, professional, skilled, and conscientious workers. They feel like friends. Namaste Solar offers a quality product and service. After we turned the system on, we celebrated with champagne as we watched the electric meter go backwards and the increasing amount of CO2 that was not released into the atmosphere (about 25 pounds of CO2 per day so far) from burning fossil fuels because of the electricity that our panels were providing. So, are we pleased with our system and the work done? YES! Would we recommend Namaste Solar? YES!read more

My system was installed over five years ago (I was the first on my block). Namaste did the work and was very patient with me while I hemmed and hawed before pulling the trigger. They came back just... a couple years ago when I installed a whole new siding system on my house that required them to removed the converter and other panels and re-install once I was done. After being solicited by a national company I decided to look into solar (didn’t know I needed it until then). Called several for quotes and asked my local friends for a recommendation. Ultimately... namaste came up. They weren’t the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. They are local and came HIGHLY recommended by those who had used them. They know the local power companies, and how it all would work, plus they are employee owned. The review that sold me was from a guy who had a structural problem once the install began. Namaste bolstered his roof for the price of the extra lumber only, getting the job done with little fanfare or increased costs. After I picked them they came out on schedule, helped me with Excel, and played with my dog when they took breaks. I have zero complaints. They sold me a 75% system, but I actually have only paid for electricity for maybe 2 of the 17 months since install, which is more like 88%.read more

Late in 2018 Namaste replaced my 12-year old PVA system with a new one. It was part of a roof replacement, and initially the plan was simply to remove the old system, replace the roof, then... re-install a new system. Namaste was signed up to do this and did the removal. But when I inquired what a new system would be like, Namaste's plan made sense. I've been happy ever since. So far the new system has produced 25% more energy than the original system had produced at the corresponding time in previous years. But beyond the productivity, I can't say enough positive about the professionalism of the installation crew as well as the folks in the office. I have nothing but praise for the quality of people at Namaste, as well as the quality of their work. I've recommended them to others who are considering solar and will continue to do so.read more

So what can I say about going solar, it was the best decision we have made regarding our home. We have high usage (way above normal households) and have seen our energy bill cut to about 1/3rd our... usual amount. We have several servers running 24/7, A/C set to 72 degrees, a hot tub and a river jet pool that are used regularly plus a household full of people who leave on lights and appliances running. What can I say about Namasté Solar? They were the best choice having shopped around for a company and doing our due diligence. I would recommend them to anyone without any reservations. The process was exactly as described and although we had a few hiccups, none were due to Namasté. We were able to obtain the maximum panels from any other company we evaluated. They did such a great job we gave the installers a $1,000 tip for their hard work. I am biased here because I work for Namaste Solar, but from a customer standpoint, we had an awesome experience with our solar installation. Adam was great at getting us a quote and answering any... and all questions we had before and after signing our contract. Nico helped us realize we had some hail damage on our roof and recommended we had it replaced before adding solar, which we did, and we are very thankful we didn't have to deal with this after the fact. When it came to installation, we had a unique situation. Namaste Solar did a fantastic job designing and installing a solar system and EV charging circuit for our home in Denver. They designed the perfect system for our needs, communicated clearly... throughout the process, and went above and beyond to deliver a great finished product despite the challenges of a complicated installation (solar panels on the roof of our house + garage, relocating our electric service to the garage and burying our power line so it no longer went over our backyard, and installing an EV circuit in our garage). At first I resisted going with Namaste because I assumed they’d be overpriced and hyper-local (ie, the “popular” brand in Boulder County). So we met with 2-3 solar companies and probably ended up... with proposals from about 1/2 dozen. Of all of the companies, these guys felt less like salesmen than any others; there was no sense that they were over promising, all of their choices were clearly explained (and made sense) and the pricing was fair. It’s not the cheapest (or the most expensive) group, but customer support and service was excellent. The equipment is good quality (matching the recommendations of independent technical reviewers). It also became clear that the technical knowledge of their people was, on average, much higher than other companies’. They also know our local regulators. And the crew that came for the installation were extremely pleasant, educated and well-mannered. Great guys. Save yourself some time and work with them.read more

I had Namaste install my solar panels--a pretty large array that generates more energy than I use--in the spring of 2016. They did a great job! I had gotten two other quotes, and found them to be... competitive, especially if I wanted to pay them off fairly quickly (which I did). The panels have not needed any maintenance or repair, and continue to work great! If I were to move to another house and needed new solar panels, they'd be the first people I'd call.read more

They had to add a long grounding wire to meet code, which... was a pain, but they stuck to their bid. System works great, including squirrel guard, and I monitor power production on line. Namaste did an excellent job installing my solar panels. They are very professional as they manage the installation as a project with high quality parts. They explain everything well and leave the... project sight cleaner than they found it. They recommend the best way to run the wiring for your respective house and finish the job by training you on the equipment mounted either in your garage or outside your house. I cannot say enough about their project management as I had a deck installed by a different company the year previous that was a nightmare. I was also impressed by the professional knowledge of the installation crew as compared to what I overheard from the crew of another solar company working on my neighbors house.read more

We had Namaste install solar panels on our house 3 1/2 years ago. A neighbor of ours had had a good experience with them. The system is supplying over 90% of our total electricity use, which... includes an all-electric car, plus a plug-in hybrid. The installation process was simple. They did all the leg work, we just had to sign some documents.More recently, we've had some transient problems in the panels that trigger the inverter to shut down until we reboot it and tell it to retest. Namaste has been out twice, no charge, to inspect the system and provide data to the panel manufacturer. They will replace any defective panels completely under warranty, including all labor, at no cost to us. Much better customer service and warranty coverage than just about anything you can buy these days!The latest IPCC report is saying that we'd better get busy reducing fossil fuel use NOW, and the 30% federal tax rebates start dropping in 2021. We'd highly recommend contacting Namaste sooner rather than later.read more

Since then a SMA inverter has twice needed... software updates, and Namasté installed them cheerfully and without charge. (The inverter still worked. I do know how the experience of buying and installing a solar power system could have gone more smoothly. The staff at Namaste Solar worked closely with me every step of the way. They actually were... able to install the system sooner than expected. They installed the system in two days. Namaste provided and installed our home solar system 16 months ago and we haven't paid for electricity (other than a minimal connection fee which allow us to use Xcel as a large battery) since. We... have had no issues with the system - Namaste was professional and efficient with the installation and there have been no issues with the system since it went on-line. In particular, the solar panels were completely unaffected by spring and summer hail storms (wish we could say the same about the garden). Namaste also did the negotiating and navigation with Xcel, which was perhaps the most complicated aspect of putting solar on our house. We couldn't be more please. The added bonus has been a much larger reduction than we expected in winter power bills - our initial estimate that the system would pay itself back in about 15 years has been halved. We are converts - if you're waffling, install your system now!read more

We've had our system for 2 years now and love it. When we first started shopping solar, we wanted to purchase outright, vs lease and essentially switch power companies. We recieved quotes from 3... companies, Namaste offered the highest quality panels, with higher output per panel, which actually reduced our cost by 10k over the other companies. All in we have a 6k system, and our family has not paid for electricity since, in fact we get paid each month as part of Xcels solar rewards program, which Namaste was able to enroll us in. First, it is important to note that I try to stay local with everything I do. Namaste not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. I am 18 months out from the installation and I am still happy.... Examples of positives - the install was exactly as planned and completed in 2 days. The final inspections and release from Excel happened within the week (as promised) and I was live. Namaste offered to help (and called me to ensure I knew about resources) with any of my needs throughout the decision, installation, and turn on portions. Prior to the installation I was given an overview of what to expect and the system I went with should have covered 90% of my needs - actually I am at 99% of the household load. I am concurrently working to reduce usage and I did get a refund from Excel in year one. More importantly, I went on monthly budget billing at the one year mark and I am at $69.00 a month for my gas and electric combined (yes-$70.00 in January). I am installing a high efficiency boiler (with radiant floor) so I am looking forward to an even lower monthly bill now that gas usage will be more efficient. On top of all this - I am very grateful for Namaste's non-sales emails with useful information (legislation issues, hail concerns) at intervals through the year. Very satisfied, in fact I still keep my Namaste sign in the front yard.read more

Namaste Solar designed a system that was within my budget but maximized my solar panel space. Adam did a great job on the design and met with me at my home to discuss the proposal and describe the... process. After I agreed, the Namaste installation team efficiently installed the 9.8 kW system, which included replacing the circuit breaker in the garage that was a known fire hazard. The installation crew was well trained and enjoyed being paid for something they felt is needed now and in the future. Namaste has three business offices in the US, and the company encourages motivated people to build their skill set by paying for them to become, for example, certified electricians. Namaste also understood my city government to stream line the rebate process available to me for installing solar panels. It’s important to note we needed a significant amount of electrical work for our old house and Namaste took that into account. The others, not so much. Now that we are up and running, we’re sure we made the right choice. We feel that we employed the most capable solar company in the area. The workers were outstanding: quick, competent, and considerate. Namaste’s timeliness was excellent. They set aggressive schedules and met them. The system performance exceeds expectations. The price was reasonable and they worked with us to set it. And there were no unexpected change orders raising the price. Two things to note: (1) the biggest delay is getting Xcel to install the production meter. Be prepared. (2) make sure you ask all your questions up front. Neither the salesman nor the project manager was particularly responsive.read more

I have owned my photovoltaic system for 3 years in August. I had a very good experience with all the folks at Namaste, from their sales staff (who didn't puff up their pitch, just answered my... questions and respected my level of understanding about what I was buying) to their admin team who handled all the necessary applications with the City and arranged for the rebate I was eligible for, to the installation crew, who went above and beyond to get all the panels in place and get the system up and running properly. It hasn't malfunctioned at all, and even weathered some brief golf-ball sized hail this June without any apparent damage. A very knowledgable friend approved of the brands of equipment they offered. I did my homework before I had my solar panels installed. I asked Sun Run and Solar City for quotes and details of service. Ultimately, I decided on a locally based company with a fabulous after... install service. I decided buying my panels outright made good sense. I got a hefty tax rebate. As part of the Namaste install, you get linked to an app. I can monitor the operation of my panels remotely. I love it. My electricity bill is $0 nearly all year and we plug in our Chevy Volt each night. It runs on solar power. Sweet!Last, and maybe most important for some, we just went through a doozy of hailstorm. My roof is toast. My panels are just fine. I know that Namaste will help remove and re install panels where needed, so I can get the roof entirely reroofed. You can't go wrong. We started the process of installing a solar system for our home in October of 2017. We received four proposals from three vendors, and selected Namaste to provide and install the panels and... associated electronics. References provided by Namaste were enthusiastic in discussing their experiences. Friends and neighbors who received systems and services from Namaste were unanimously positive.Namaste gave a detailed proposal with diagrams and graphs, and followed up with visits from a sales person to explain the proposal and answer questions. After we signed the contract, a project manager visited to see the site, and explain the installation process. Throughout the installation and transition to production, the level of communication was thorough and detailed. The workmanship was excellent, and the installers cleaned up all work areas before leaving.Our system went on-line in March of 2081. Performance has matched expectations. I was amazed that... when they put a ladder on my wooden deck they put pads under the feet of the ladder so it would not mark up the wood. From the sales Rep to the designer they were all a pleasure to work with. I had a lot of questions and everyone I spoke to answered my question or found out the answer. It was completely turnkey including negotiation with the power company. the system performs great, and coupled with my Chevy Volt... plug-in hybrid I am completely net zero on energy. I am abut 15 minutes outside of Boulder and Longmont, and it's a great feeling to run errands all day in town and know I am making my own energy for the trip. And since Colorado electricity is still over 50% coal powered, I would say if you have an electric vehicle, rooftop solar is a must. I highly recommend them.read more

I've been very happy with the service from Namaste! They were able to put in a bigger system, faster, than another company we got a quote from. Then, they put the system in even sooner than I had... expected!The rooftop system itself has a low profile, all black so no silver edging sticking out. The conduit was installed expertly and is also hardly noticeable. They cleaned up nicely, also, and patched the small amount of drywall they had to remove in the garage. The system has been running nearly 3 months and we couldn't be happier with the result. Another reason we chose Namaste is their business model. We like the employee owned and operated model, and we felt a lot less pressure than another company, which was calling us at 8:30pm to try to close a deal.
