Unico / City of Boulder – Parking Garages

PROJECT DETAILS

Namaste Solar installed carport solar arrays on two parking garages in downtown Boulder, CO. The two systems combined will have a 499 kW capacity. The garage at 1100 Spruce will be 100% solar powered and the garage at 1500 Pearl will be 65% solar powered. These projects support the city’s efforts to bring local, renewable energy generation to the community, which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with electricity generation.

These projects are two of 13 arrays that Namaste Solar is completing for the City of Boulder in 2020.

Funding for the projects is provided by Unico Solar Investors, which will own and develop the installations. Learn more about the City of Boulder’s plan to increase solar capacity at multiple facilities.
