The Summit Thornton is not only a place for “Elevated Entertainment” but environmentally friendly fun as well. The new location partnered with Namaste Solar to design, install, and commission a solar PV system as part of their new development. The Summit Thornton used a SBA 504, which provides capital for construction but requires (among other options) that at least 10% of a company’s energy consumption be covered by renewable energy or reduced via energy efficiency improvements. The new solar system helps to power some of the 50,000 square feet facility’s many features, which include bowling, arcade games, laser tag, and a restaurant.
