Peña Station

PROJECT DETAILS

Namaste Solar designed and built the 1.6 MW carport located at Peña Station, along with a 259 kW rooftop system for the nearby Panasonic Enterprise Solutions office building. These solar systems are part of a larger solar plus storage microgrid project that also includes a 1 MW (2 MWh) lithium-ion battery. This project is the result of a partnership between Xcel Energy, Panasonic, and Denver International Airport, and is part of larger Peña Station NEXT transit-oriented development.
