Greeley now has a new community solar garden that will inject energy directly into the Xcel grid. The project consists of two sites of 1994 kW and 4,925 panels each. It will produce 7,510MWH in the first year of production. Plus, the site is using holistic land management practices by using sheep agriculture to control the vegetation, planting a nutrient dense variety of pollinator friendly plants, and improving the overall health of the soil significantly.
