The Four Seasons Family of Companies partnered with Namaste Solar to design, engineer, and construct the ballasted 1.3 MW system that will offset approximately one sixth of the facility’s annual electric consumption. Four Seasons was awarded a grant for the project through the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development’s Solar Energy Program, in addition to an Act 129 rebate from their local utility, PPL. This is the largest rooftop solar system on a refrigerated building in Lancaster County, PA and will generate enough electricity to avoid the need for 1,326,237 pounds of coal.
