PROJECT DETAILS

The City of Edgewater partnered with Namaste Solar to install this 400-panel solar system on the Civic Center, which houses community services such as City Hall, the police department, a fitness center, and a library. The system consists of both a ballasted rooftop system for the flat roof and a flush mount system for two pitched standing seam roofs. It will produce 274,300 kWh in its first year of production, the equivalent of over 428,000 pounds of CO2 avoided. Plus, it will offset 73.2% of the building’s energy usage.
