Each solar panel turns sunshine into clean energy, and every home and commercial property that makes the switch to solar is part of creating significant change. In 2022, we installed 1,167 projects that came out to 17,272 kW worth of solar power. We also designed 21,546 systems and serviced 613 projects.
Our 2022 solar installations are the equivalent of 283,354 tree seedlings grown for 10 years, 5,930 tons of waste recycled instead of dumped in a landfill, or 3,334 homes’ electricity use for one year!
Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balance purpose and profit. We consider how our decisions impact our workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. As a B Corp, we are part of a global movement of people using business as a force for good.
As an employee-owned cooperative, we believe in empowering our employees to take ownership of their work—literally! Our 64 co-owners, 15 candidates, and 130 employees bring care, quality, and an ownership mentality to everything we do.
Namaste Solar continues to grow and operate in the communities of Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins. As we grow, not only do we impact the local economy, but we promote more green jobs within the community. We always welcome more people to join our mission of investing in clean energy.
In 2022, Namaste Solar donated $36,257 to 10 organizations through Community Profit Sharing— a program in which we dedicate a percentage of our net profits to our community stakeholders; we gave $10,000 and raised another $90,071 for Energy Outreach Colorado through our Keep the Lights on Colorado campaign; and gave $21,000 in support of other local organizations.
Namaste Solar provides electrical apprenticeship training to our installation teams to help them build their skill sets and advance their careers. We invest heavily in our team to ensure the highest quality installations, provide the best in customer service, and to maintain our stellar safety record.
Fun Fact: Our 2022 solar installs produced enough energy to charge 2,084,530,334 smart phones!
