How does a PPA work?

A solar power purchase agreement (PPA) is similar to a lease option. With a solar PPA, you don’t own your system, but you still get to benefit from clean solar energy. As the homeowner, you will pay a discounted rate for the power your system produces, typically lower than your utility rate.

With a solar PPA, you will work directly with Namaste Solar to quote, design, and install your solar plus battery system. You’ll enjoy the same no-pressure, non-commission process with our team, and you’ll still get the best quality installation from our employee-owned company. The difference is that LightReach by Palmetto will own the system under the PPA, and as the owner of the system, they will handle billing, monitoring, maintenance, and repairs after installation.
