In 2006, Boulder Community Health (BCH) partnered with Namaste Solar to install the first rooftop solar system on a hospital in the United States. Since then, BCH has continued to increase solar generation across its operations, including at the Della Cava Family Medical Pavilion, pictured here. These efforts are part of BCH’s larger sustainability work, born from the understanding that environmental health is linked to human health. Namaste Solar partnered with Wyatt Construction to design, install and commission this solar system on the medical office and adjoining parking garage.
