The Putney School

The Putney School is a progressive, private secondary school located in southeastern Vermont. This 446 kW ground-mounted array is part of a multi-year sustainability initiative at The Putney School. The three-acre solar array, when combined with the school’s existing 38.6 kW solar array, will have the capacity to supply more than 70% of the Putney School’s annual electricity needs. The solar array will not only help the school reach its sustainability goals and cut energy costs, it will also provide more opportunities for students to learn from solar energy generation on campus.
