PROJECT DETAILS

Namaste Solar partnered Vermont-based developer, Encore Renewable Energy, to provide engineering, procurement, and construction services for this 1.3 MW ground-mounted solar array for the Stowe Electric Department, in Stowe, Vermont. The project, commissioned in September of 2016, is sited on a reclaimed portion of a municipal gravel pit. Encore Renewable Energy worked with the Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) and the Stowe Electric Department to achieve project financing under the US Treasury Department’s Clean Renewable Energy Bonds (CREBs) program.
