DHA Community Solar Garden

PROJECT DETAILS

The Denver Housing Authority Community Solar Garden is the nation’s first 100% low-income community solar garden developed, owned, and operated by a Housing Authority. The solar garden will provide a 20% energy savings to subscribers, allowing the low-income housing to not just be affordable rent-wise, but also in terms of utility bills. The system is comprised of 5,958 panels and will offset over 53,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The solar garden is an ATI V3 single-axis driven pier tracker installed by Russel Pacific Construction Services.
