Sterling Community Solar

PROJECT DETAILS

For this project, 2.5 MW of solar was installed overall, with 2 MW located in the community solar garden outside of Sterling, CO. An additional 500 kW was installed at the Colorado Department of Corrections (not pictured). Through the community solar program, multiple subscribers can purchase energy from a single PV facility located off-site. The project was developed by Ecoplexus, a leader in the development, design, construction, and financing of solar power projects.
