Unico / City of Boulder – Water Resource Recovery Facility

PROJECT DETAILS

Namaste Solar designed and built a new 499 kW ground-mount system at the City of Boulder’s Water Resource Recovery Facility off 75th Street. The city has used an innovative, collaborative approach to solar procurement across multiple city departments and properties. The city is paying no upfront capital investment costs for the solar and will realize savings in operating costs throughout the life of the new systems.

This project is one of 13 arrays that Namaste Solar is completing for the City of Boulder in 2020.

Funding for the projects is provided by Unico Solar Investors, which will own and develop the installations. Learn more about the City of Boulder’s plan to increase solar capacity at multiple facilities.
