ROOF MATERIAL

Solar modules can be installed over some roofing types more easily than others. Asphalt shingle roofs are ideal, while materials like shake shingle are not conducive to the installation process. In such cases we recommend re-roofing with asphalt shingle, to be done in conjunction with the PV installation. Solar PV can also be put on concrete or ceramic tile roofs if you hire a roofing contractor to remove the tiles before our installation and replace them afterwards.
