Xcel energy is currently the only service provider in the Front Range that is offering financial incentives and net metering to its customers. If you are not in Xcel territory, you should call your provider to find out if they would be willing to offer net metering so that you could tie to the grid.

If you are an Xcel customer, you are eligible for up to $4.50 per watt in rebate and Renewable Energy Credits. This is about half the installed cost of a typical PV system.

Please take a look at your last energy bill to confirm your service provider. If you are planning to build a new home, you can call Xcel at 1.800.895.4999 to find out if the address is in their service territory.
