Solar Energy Education Class

We believe we have a social responsibility to educate the larger community about solar energy and the need to explore renewable resources.

We educate individuals, families, businesses, schools, and universities on the importance of going solar. Interested homeowners have had the chance to learn about solar PV through everything from our one-hour “Solar PV 101” presentations to a three-day, hands on “Introduction to Solar PV” course through the University of Colorado at Boulder’s Division of Continuing Education and Professional Studies.

We receive frequent requests from professionals in related fields such as architecture, construction, and real estate to provide their employees with basic training on solar PV so that they are able to share accurate information with their clients.

As the solar PV industry continues to grow, more and more individuals are interested in switching careers to the renewable energy field. As such, we have provided workforce training on topics ranging from hands-on installation to financing solar projects.

In addition, we believe that the next generation of decision-makers is every bit as important as this one. To that end, we have provided several workshops for school children so that they can see solar PV in action, and we have assisted teachers in creating more in-depth curricula for their students to explore. We plan to expand all of these efforts in the years to come to ensure that the community is well informed about solar PV as an integral part of our energy future.

If you are interested in having Namasté Solar provide a presentation or workshop for your group, please email outreach@namastesolar.com.
