Namasté Solar takes an active, collaborative role in advocating for policies that will ensure the long-term viability of the solar PV industry in Colorado. Our efforts are based on the following guiding principles:
- Proliferate as much solar PV in our communities as possible
- Expand opportunities for solar PV to people from all walks of life
- Improve the natural environment
- Create local jobs and economic development
We have dedicated one full-time co-owner to spearhead these efforts on behalf of our company. Eriks Brolis, our Director of External Affairs, serves as president of the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association (CoSEIA) as well as helps facilitate of the statewide PV Policy Subcommittee. In these capacities, Eriks, Namasté Solar co-owners, and other members of CoSEIA, provide testimony to the Colorado Public Utilities Commission and advocate on behalf of the industry in the Colorado State Legislature. We also collaborate with the Governor’s Energy Office and our local, state, and federal representatives.
If you wish to get involved with advocating for the proliferation of solar PV, please e-mail info@coseia.org.
