Having an impartial third party perform Quality Assurance and Commissioning adds important accountability mechanisms to the project. From design to implementation, our oversight will verify the integrity of the installation to ensure the system is safe and will perform as specified over time.

Commissioning deliverables can include visual inspection, inverter manufacturer installation startup requirements, system component torque guidelines, string voltage and current verification, performance verification, insulation testing, and IV curve trace results.

Colorado Department of Correction
Namasté Solar was awarded the Colorado Department of Corrections RFP for Quality Assurance and Commissioning for four 100-kW projects on its facilities in southern Colorado. Namasté Solar reviewed the completed projects and ensured that the quality of installations will safely and reliably provide power for the life of the systems. An important part of our approach to QA/QC work stems from our experience as an integrator, making us aware of what to look for in the technical application as well being sensitive to the challenges that the contractor may experience onsite. We believe that our ability to balance all stakeholder perspectives makes us uniquely suited for this work. Our deliverables included review of electrical interconnection plans, site visits to visually inspect workmanship, and final reports to the CDOC.
