Pillars of Co-Ownership

Our Pillars provide the fundamental framework for how we uphold Co-Ownership. Just as a building requires pillars in order to remain stable and prevent collapse, our company relies on this foundation when stressed by external and internal loading.

 

COOPERATIVE OWNERSHIP: We each own an equal voting share in our company.

DEMOCRATIC DECISION-MAKING: We participate in decision-making on a one-person, one-vote basis.

EXTREME TRANSPARENCY: We practice open book management and hold open meetings.

What’s in a Name?

Chosen by our three founders, Blake Jones, Ray Tuomey, and Wes Kennedy, the Sanskrit word Namasté has important meaning. Used as a traditional Sanskrit greeting of respect for millennia, the word recognizes the interdependence of all living things. Our founders chose this word to represent our company values and for its unique ability to differentiate us from other companies.
